I would like to extend my thanks to the members for allowing me to represent you for another term as CEU President. Elections are good for Unions as they demonstrate to Management that those elected truly have a mandate and express the voice of the majority of the members.
It is not lost on me though that the race was tight. The Union executive strives to represent all members and to provide leadership on issues important to you. Each year the executive holds a variety of meetings in locations throughout the province. I encourage you to attend those meetings. Your participation and views shape the directions the union takes.
I am hopeful that in the next two years I will have the opportunity to meet with many of you personally to discuss your ideas. Please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss any topics of importance to you. Once again, thank you for your support and confidence. I will work hard to represent you in the next two years.
